On-Call Services offers advocacy for domestic violence survivors involved with the criminal justice system. The program provides a 24-hour response by advocacy teams in every law enforcement jurisdiction and in hospital emergency rooms in Washtenaw County, MI.

Goal / Mission

The goal of the On-Call Services program is to provide information about domestic violence and the legal system to survivors of abuse. The program also offers legal advocacy for court hearings and meetings with the police, prosecutor, and other involved attorneys, probation, and others.

Results / Accomplishments

In 1996 alone, 50 On-Call Advocates responded to 765 domestic assault arrests calls from police.
